Parisians are celebrating a new dawn with a new rainbow department store opening on Saturday.
The opening of the first ever French department store in the city will bring an estimated 1,500 people to the square of Notre Dame de la Sorbonne on the Champs-Elysees.
The grand opening of a second department store will open on Monday in the heart of Paris’ historic centre.
The department store is expected to be a hit with both locals and tourists, as the new store will be able to offer products from a wide variety of countries.
Paris will also see a new shopping center at the site of the Château du Parc and a new metro line.
